More Trouble

Some day she'll stop letting me take pictures of her first thing in the morning. With Captain Crunch on her mouth. And Einstein hair.

But even with Einstein hair, isn't she beautiful? That's one pretty little girl (and I'm not biased at all).

Sometimes it's quiet around here

but it's usually not good. Not good at all. And it usually ends in someone yelling (me) and someone crying in bed (Bella) and someone being banished to the kennel (Bella) (Gunner).

When it's quiet, something's goin' down.

I peaked around the fireplace to investigate and this is what I found. Bella grabbed a row of crackers and started feeding Noah. She's been asking if he wants cheerios ever since we brought him home from the hospital, but he finally has the teeth to eat them (kinda). But not by himself. That's the rule. But if you're three, rules are more like guidelines.

It's almost as though Noah know's he's been caught. He loves trying out his new teeth on anything and everything. Especially fingers. And Bella's toys. And important papers. But not junk mail. He's picky like that.

He definitely takes after his daddy with his bite sizes (now if he's looking like that with a brownie or cupcake, that's more my genes).

Don't let the innocent looks of these three fool you. They're up to no good. Always. Notice how Gunner is laying down. He's not really behaving. He's waiting until the two of them scurry away. Then he'll have a feast. Notice how Noah's looking like he's wanting something better (like a cupcake) and how Bella's ready to run to his rescue (and get a cupcake for herself too). I have my hands full.

She'll hate shots like these later...

I almost wonder if I shouldn't post this, but it's an on-going issue we've been having...

Bella plays so hard all day long and gets so tired that she's been falling asleep doing weird things. One night, we were eating dinner at a restaurant and she fell asleep on Abel's lap with a spoon in her mouth (she was eating an ice cream sundae).

Here, we kept calling her because we couldn't figure out where she went. We finally found her in the bathroom with wet pants. Apparently she had to go to the bathroom but fell asleep before she could go.

Wrapping Presents

So we were wrapping presents and Bella decided she had to help. She got a DVD out of the cabinet and started wrapping. She said she wanted to give it to Mimi. That's what's so cute about Bella--she definitely thinks its the thought that counts. You could give her a box of rocks and she'd exclaim "how cute!"

What's really funny is that the box she's sitting next to really isn't that big...it's just that Bella is that small. I love our fireplace.

Our Little Flower Girl

I hope I'm not spoiling her debut at the wedding, but check out our cute little flower girl. We picked up her dress today at David's Bridal. Since we were the only ones in the store, they let her try on her dress on the bridal pedestals. She had a lot of fun playing Cinderella.

Saturday Morning Fun

We're on the hunt for a stove top, microwave, vent, light fixtures, ceiling fans, and an air compressor. Being the bargain hunter that I am (and the amount of items taht we have to buy), I decided to try a few garage sales this weekend.

Unfortunately the people at the first garage sale had some great items but needed a reality check in their pricing.

The second sale was at a beautiful multi-million dollar home. People were lined up outside the house a half hour before they started and all of the items we needed were snatched up before I could get kid #2 out of the car.

While we were inside snooping looking at housewares, I heard Bella screach "Oh my gosh!". Immediately I turned around worried she had broken something and I noticed her eyeing this dress.

The proportions are wrong (especially since it is supposedly size 6), but Bella loves it regardless. It'll made a good play dress or a nice decoration on display in her room.

I also found some linens--most will be used on her bed since they are girly flowers and mismatched (Bella said they were "so cute"). I ended up with two sets of sheets and seven pillow cases for $3.

I also purchased ten towels and two towel-like bath mats for $1.25. Although they aren't necessarily colors I would have chosen and they don't really match, we have four bathrooms to stock so these will work beautifully for now.

We'll see what next weekend brings...
