Just ignore the pictures--I had an assistant photographer today :o)
Noah just loves being held and even though he's still so small, he's now reaching for everything. It makes cooking and working on simple projects not to simple. It's more like an obsticle course for both me and him.
I made this Sweetpod Baby Carrier from a pattern by Seedpod Craft (www.seedpodcraft.com). I like it because you can wear it in front or on your back.
And it has a cute sleeping hood that will shade him from the sun (if he'll fall asleep). The sleeping hood fits in a hidden pocket. Also perfect for stashing keys.
The fabric is by Echino, a Japanese designer. It was a splurge, but you just don't seem to find fabrics in the US with similar murals or patterns.

Hand-Me-Downs
Yesterday Bella came downstairs in this dress. I stored it in her armoire until she was big enough to wear it--it fits her perfectly now. It was a dress that my great-aunt Pauline made and gave to me as a hand-me-down. Bella loves it because the skirt has a good twirl factor...and it has lots of lace and bows. The shoes are a thrift-store find from my mom which Bella has been wearing long before they actually fit her. The perfect outfit for my little girly-girl.

Tiny Noah
Noah had his 9 month visit yesterday. He's 16 pounds and has finally doubled his birth weight.
Noah's so small--he dropped off the growth chart. His blood work came back fine (notice the wrap on his arm) so we'll see where he's at on his 1 year visit. No shots this time around!
Noah started standing. He's at the very early stages--where he's able to dive for hugs and sit down gently. It's such a cute stage and doesn't last very long.
Here's the sunrise this morning. The sky was beautiful, but we need a graduated neutral density filter.
I finally got a picture of the ducks in our pool. They startle so easily so its hard to catch them.
