We loved the photographer who took our maternity pictures so much, we asked him to do the newborn pictures...and we certainly weren't disappointed. Before Noah was born (because I knew I wouldn't have any time afterwards) I made the green "cocoon" and hat as well as the white "pod" to photograph him. I think these gave a little bit of visual interest to the photos. Bella's newborn pictures were of mostly the family, so I knew this time, we wanted to preserve the preciousness (is that a word?) of a newborn--something that gets lost in group pictures.
